Hi! I'm Carlene McKinnell. I have been breeding Miniature Dachshunds for going on twelve years now. Each of these years has been a real pleasure. My dachshunds are handled with love from the day they are born. I really enjoy watching them grow into beautiful and unique individuals.
The variety of coats, colors and patterns in the Dachshund make them exceptional and exciting. I am so proud of all of them, and love to share them with other people. My dogs are bred carefully for exceptional temperament and beautiful conformation. I strive to improve the quality with each litter I breed.
I have recently acquired some really nice champion bloodlines from a great lady and my mentor Nancy M Bryant.These great Champion Bloodlines have enhanced my breeding program to be what they are today. My little stud "Hunter" which is now a CH Champion pictured on the home page with me at a recent show. He has proven to be a quality sire of producing nice Champions in each litter. His siblings are now Finished Champions, along with other sons and daughters that will soon finish as Champions.
All my dogs receive routine vacinations, worming, teeth cleaning and are kept on a careful diet with vitamin supplements as needed. My regular veterinarian takes care of all my dog's needs, and for that I'm so grateful to have a wonderful vet. He and I have recently discussed a dental program which I have started working into my program.
If you decide to purchase a pet puppy or show puppy from me you will receive a sales contract which guarantees the health of the dog for 48 hours, and show puppies have show contracts. You should as soon as possible take your new pup to your own veterinarian to verify that he/she is in good health and to arrange any further vacinations or worming that should be given.
If you see a puppy on the website that you would like to make your own, please email me with your information and be prepared to make a $200.00 or more deposit either through Paypal or by check or money order. I only do a spay or neuter contract only, unless disscussed other wise. The deposit is not refundable. and will not be recorded until the money has been received or the check has been processed. Puppies don't leave here until they are 12 weeks of age.
Shipping can be arranged. If you will need to have your puppy shipped to you, please let me know when you make your deposit.

This is where my angels keep themselves warm and dry. They love to sleep on nice clean soft blankets when it is time to take a nap.
There is only one or two dogs to a run. On the floors of the runs are rubber mats to cushion their jumping and playing.Play yard is now finished, we are now planning a agility area for our angels to really have fun.
